Vancrest is proud to announce its 50th Anniversary of serving the Van Wert Community. Dr. Edward E. White, founder, provided the first geriatric hospital in 1960 to meet the health care needs of seniors.

In 1970, Vancrest broke ground at its current location in Van Wert for a state of the art health care center to further meet long-term care needs. Services and growth continued over the next 28 years, including the construction of the Assisted Living Complex in 1996 and the Rehabilitation Center in 1998.

In the last decade, Vancrest has expanded services to locations in Convoy, Delphos, Eaton, Greenville, Holgate, and Urbana.

Special events are planned throughout the year for the staff, residents, and community as we continue to celebrate this milestone.
