| The P.A.R.K.
Program was the first of its kind to be developed in the United States.
It was instituted in 1989 by Robert Kann, PT, who graduated from the
University of Wisconsin in 1973 and has worked with individuals with
Parkinson's disease for over 29 years. The program is designed to give the person afflicted with Parkinson's Disease exercises and information that will be used on a regular basis to gain maximum potential of function. Family members are strongly encouraged to attend the sessions as this support is perceived to be one of the key ingredients in making this a successful program. |
